Historic Germantown, Freedom’s Backyard, is offering several options for your tour groups this summer! These field trips are designed for a wide range of interests and age groups. Two hour programs are available for campers at historic Stenton, Cliveden, Wyck, Historic Rittenhousetown, Grumblethorpe, Concord Schoolhouse, Johnson House, LaSalle Art Museum, ACES Museum, and Germantown Mennonite Historic Trust! Programs are available from July 6 – August 19, 2011.

Campers will experience activities such as working with old fashioned tools or making old fashioned toys, playing Native American games or stringing wampum beads, do colonial paper making, scavenger hunts, relay races, and much more!

Historic Germantown Summer Programs will make every effort to accommodate your summer camp. Flexibility with larger groups and varying age groups is possible. Availability of each site and activities may vary depending on age and size of groups.

Cost for programs is $5 per camper. Visits can be scheduled from July 6 – August 19, 2011
